Theme #1: Carpets in Art:
- Created several installations, 2D paintings and 3D artworks inspired by and using carpet designs, playing with themes of journeys and transitions through both time and space
- Researched how carpets have played a role in world art, the history of carpet art with a focus on Persian and Turkish rugs, the way rugs are used practically in cultural and music events and contemporary artists who use rugs with inspirations from their own cultures such as Firat Neziroglu, Faig Ahmed, Jonas Wood, Hadji Jalili, and Daisy Tougelchee

Theme #2: The Use of Light in Cultural Events, Art and Logos:
- Created several 3D art installations using fairy lights and light bulbs as focal points to signify concepts such as hope, knowledge, cognition and diversity, and designed a logo, "Create & Shine"
- Studied cultural celebrations of light around the world, how light is used in different mediums such as in paintings, cinematography, architecture, performance arts and digital art, and the use of light by contemporary artists such as James Turrell, Olafur Eliasson, Dan Flavin, Yayoi Kusama and Leo Villareal
- Researched how graphic design can aid in advertising with striking logo designs and analysed the works of famous graphic artists Milton Glaser, Paula Scher, Stefan Sagmesiter and Paul Rand
Extracurricular Activities
- 2022 - Ongoing: Act as the flag bearer in school ceremonies
- 2023 - 2024: Worked on TED Ankara College's Chemistry Club's chemistry magazine to make it available in print and online, with sound recordings and manual alphabet so that the issues are accessible to a visually- and hearing-impaired audience; interviewed an ophthalmologist on eyesight health and things people can do to take care of their eyesight, wrote an article based on the interview
- June 2024: Assisted the theatre club during their rendition of Molière's The Would-Be Noble by welcoming guests, leading them to their seats, and supporting backstage organisation
- 2016 - 2023: Played volleyball for the TED Ankara College Middle and High School Teams; came 1st in the Ankara Middle School Tournament and 5th in the Turkish National Championship in March 2022
- February 2022: Led an online debate at the JMUNESCO '22 organised by the Ankara Bilkent Laboratory and International School (BLIS)

Prague Camp
Volunteer

- Prague, Czech Republic
- Took part in a Sustainable Design Challenge where our task was to develop ideas for improving a site that used to be a stable and is now a small local market, mostly visited by nearby residents
- Researched sustainable urban planning, observed the place, and proposed design changes that would preserve its history while making it more accessible, eco-friendly, and useful for a wider community
- Joined an urban farming project and learned about community gardens, helped with weed removal, cleaned the planting beds, and learned how proper garden care supports healthy plant growth and sustainable food production
